Congressman Roger Wicker to Be New Senator

According to Cottonmouth Blog, Wicker was asked by Haley to take Trent's place as Senator, and he said yes. Haley apparently made this decision after doing some polling.

I hope I'm correct. I hate to rely on one source (which is all I had when I posted), but I now have the same information from a second so I am reasonably certain.

I wonder how long it will take for them to make the announcement.
